Flowers are the focus of these festive tablescapes, but their sidekicks–seasonally toned tabletop pieces–are just as pretty
Thanksgiving Luncheon
Rustic elegance is the tone of this Thanksgiving tableau. The center topiary fuses informal plant material such as millet grass, sunflowers, and autumn chrysanthemums with the more polished selections of eucalyptus, berried viburnum, and mango calla lilies. The smaller accompanying topiaries are made up of fresh lavender, fountain grass, viburnum berries, and Physocarpus. All arrangements are tied with jute.

Hanukkah Dinner
Icy blues, grays, and whites give this tablescape a wintry feel, warmed by the glow of a menorah and lantern lights that flank the hearth. Silver julep cups are filled with mixed arrangements of dusty miller, white spray rose, Muscari, Ornithogalum arabicum, silver-painted rose foliage, ranunculus, white tulips, and brunia. Silver and white Jordan almonds in a star bowl and silvered gelt round out the pretty setting.
Christmas Morning Breakfast
For a Christmas morning table, Frasier fir, Austrian pine, Norway spruce, green juniper, hemlock, yew, and blue spruce make up the base of the garland and wreaths. Seeded eucalyptus, mistletoe, loblolly pine, and ivy provide textural interest. The table flowers include purple lisianthus, lavender and eggplant scabiosa, purple statice, silvery-green dusty miller, black calla lilies, burgundy Leucadendron, lilac-toned bullet allium, green fuzzy Dianthus, and a variety of gray-green succulents built into chartreuse lichen sticks. To connect the design to the banquette garland and wreaths, Frasier fir and seeded eucalyptus are placed throughout. A mini Christmas tree built on a chicken-wire frame in a galvanized tin bucket is filled in with reindeer moss and trimmed in succulents.
New Year’s Celebration
Colorful glassware, corkscrew ribbons, and rose petals bring a festive feel to this New Year’s Eve soiree, where pretty flower globes are suspended from the chandelier. The deep jewel tones are enhanced by muted light from votive holders and gold-trimmed dinnerware and placemats. Place cards rest in flower-ball holders, an echo of the spheres above. Flowers in the globes include Orange Unique roses, Black Baccara roses, Brasil roses, Topaz roses, hot pink spray roses, green Dianthus, Kermit button mums, yellow button mums, purple static, and craspedia.
