Unique details and creative touches from a Fall wedding in Rutherford, California
Location: Beaulieu Gardens, Rutherford, California
Flowers: Torryne Choate of Birch
Food: Paula LeDuc

1. Multi Grains: Sprigs of wheat tied with chocolate gingham ribbon served as sweetly humble boutonnieres. 2. Bucket List: Tin buckets held arrangements of garden roses, millet, and olive vines as pew markers on the wooden folding chairs. 3. Card Party: Old wooden crates filled with spaghnum moss were planted with bamboo sticks holding place cards, and tables were identified with farm motifs—sheep, pitchforks, and wagon wheels.
4. Wild Things: Glass containers held bare dogwood branches and a mixture of viburnum and millet. Bunches of thistle and rattlesnake grasses were piled on the table. 5. Dress Whites: White-draped tables were set for dinner under the sycamore trees and illuminated with simple, white paper lanterns. 6. Marry Maids: The varied bridesmaids’ bouquets of millet, wheat, privet, scabiosa, hypericum were all in shades of green to enhance the mustard-yellow bridesmaids’ dresses.
