Winter 2008 : Flower Show

winter light

Lewis Miller of LMD Floral in New York paints four wintry floral tableaux using a snowy palette and ethereal strokes, framing the flowers in a mix of classically cool containers.

Lush greys, greens, and purples spill out of an antique garden urn set off by a classic cluster of white roses collared by black basil leaves tucked into a Belgian ceramic vase.

Flower List:
-Super Green Parrot tulip
-Silver brunia
-White nerine
-Dusty Miller leaves
-Fragrant Snow rose
-Black basil leaves

These evanescent, stylized topiaries herald the current season (and seasons past) as they cascade from a pair of antique Chinese candlesticks.

Flower List:
-Wild clematis vine
-White anemone
-Narcissus
