flower‘s 2009 Summer Printer Dinner was held at AVO, a nouvelle restaurant in Birmingham on June 2nd. What a success the party turned out to be! All the flower people were eager to check it out, and it didn’t disappoint. They provided menu options and all were excellent. The tables were themed after the famous streets in New Orleans that were mentioned in our summer issue “New Orleans in Bloom”, and guests drew a street name out of a vase to glean the location of their table. Rubrum lilies in glass cubes with river rocks lined the tables above AVO’s lime green place settings, adding a pink and green décor mimicking flower‘s color theme.
