Flowers of Volunteer Park Conservatory

I walked into the office the other day to find this charming little book sitting on my desk:

If you live in Seattle, you may be aware of a historical gem in the north Capitol Hill neighborhood, the Volunteer Park Conservatory. One of the few remaining Victorian greenhouses, the Volunteer Park Conservatory boasts stunning flower and plant collections from around the world. Photographer Sara Chapman takes a month-by-month tour of the 100 year old Conservatory in her new book, Flowers of Volunteer Park Conservatory. Flipping through its pages, you get a glimpse of the variety and charm of this architectural treasure. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this book will be donated to the Friends of the Conservatory, so gardeners and historic preservationists alike can rejoice.
