Officially titled “Romancing the Riviera,” this cruise features at-sea presentations from four floral masters.

Internationally renowned floral designer Paula Pryke owns London’s world-famous Flower School and has been teaching students in floral design for over 15 years. Pryke, who also works with Crystal Cruises as a floral consultant, will be presenting passengers with floral eye-candy and arranging how-to’s while out at sea.

flower Contributing Editor Sybil Sylvester will also be onboard the ship giving demonstrations and teaching floral-design workshops. As owner of Wildflower Designs in Birmingham, Alabama, Sylvester adds floral magic to countless weddings and events across the Southeast and gives flower demonstrations across the U.S.

England’s Hannah McVicar will teach floral watercolor workshops onboard the ship. McVicar is a rising star in the world of floral illustrations and screenprints—and was recently compared to 19th-century artist and textile marvel William Morris by the New York Times.

Since 1983, Gene Gregg has been a great asset in constructing the annual burst of blooms in Pasadena’s famous Rose Parade. As a longtime volunteer with the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Association, Gregg will give lectures on the bloom-filled parade throughout the cruise.
